An Analysis of the Character of Iago in Shakespeare's Othello . This paper shall examine the character of Iago in Shakespeare's classic tragedy "Othello". The main theme is that Iago is representative of "evil", where all of Iago's motivations and behaviors are dictated by evil purposes.
