A Compare and Contrast of William James and Konrad Lorenz on Instinct in Behavioral Determinism. This paper will compare and contrast the theories of William James and Konrad Lorenz that determine the role of instinct in determining behavior. By understanding the inner nature of instinct within the human being, we can see how these two men agreed and disagreed on the nature of mankind to create a source of behavior.
