Annotated Bibliography on Huntington Disease. This paper would be of primary interest to scientists studying Huntington's disease. It studies the effect of the loss of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) on the progress of HD. It finds that the mutation of the huntingtin protein leads to the decreased production of BDNF, which, in turns, causes the death of striatal neurons.
