A critique of The use of pacifiers for non-nutritive sucking by In this paper, we will exam and critique the article by Elizabeth Webster titled: “The use of pacifiers for non-nutritive sucking by babies in a neonatal unit: A qualitative investigation into neonatal nurses’ perspectives”. This article outlines the result of a qualitative study done which interviews nurses and thereby acquires first hand accounts on the practice and effectiveness of pacifiers in neonatal units.
