Aristophanes' The Birds vs. Plautus' The Brothers Menaechmus. This 3-page paper considers the similarities and differences in these two classical plays. Looking at issues such as the message and the communication tools the paper argues that whilst one is merely entertainment the other is social criticism, but both make use of the many of the same tools to amuse the audience.
