Advantages and Disadvantages of Inclusive Classrooms This paper discusses cognitive strategies for inclusive classrooms. The paper defines inclusive classrooms. It discusses various types of strategies for the classroom. “750 million people worldwide are challenged by disabilities. Over 8 million Americans have visual impairments” (Cavanaugh 1). Approximately half of the people in America have some type of disability. Teachers are finding that more and more students have some type of learning disability. They must be prepared and trained to meet the needs of the students.
