Ad Parody: An Analysis of Case Law. This ten-page undergraduate research paper examines and analyzes court cases involving ad parody and the protection of freedom of the press under the First Amendment. The reasoning behind several Court decisions regarding ad parodies is explored, and the reason why public figures and public officials cannot collect damages from ad parodies unless they are able to prove that there was New York Times actual malice at the time of publication is explained. 10 pgs.
