A Sociological Analysis of Minority Violence in the American Family This paper will elucidate the common sociological problems of minority families within the United States, By understanding how modern media manipulates and corrupts the minority image through "gangster" violence, we can learn why low income black families tend to become victims of their socio-economic settings. In this manner, we can take a Functionalist view on the degradation of the American minority family in this study.
