This paper looks at how Anna Julia Cooper and Frances Ellen Watkins Harper both displayed the highest qualities of moral courage and selfless activism during their lives. That they accomplished even moderate success is a tribute to the worthiness of the causes they defended and the dignified manner in which they conducted themselves.
